Absentee Voting for the Feb. 16 Primary Election
Absentee Voting by Mail
You can request that an absentee ballot be mailed to you online at https://myvote.wi.gov/en-US/VoteAbsentee. You can also submit a paper application for an absentee ballot, or you can request a ballot by sending a letter or email to the City Clerk. Your request must list your Monona address, the address where you'd like your ballot sent, the date of the election you're requesting a ballot for, your signature, and a copy of proof of identification. You can check the status of your absentee ballot request at https://myvote.wi.gov/en-US/VoteAbsentee. Absentee ballots can be returned via the U.S. Mail, or they can be dropped at City Hall. A secure, drive-up drop box is available in the parking lot at City Hall between the flag poles.
- The last day to request an absentee ballot by mail for the Feb. 16 Primary Election is Thursday, Feb. 11.
Absentee Voting in Person
You can vote absentee in-person for the Feb. 16 Primary Election at City Hall from February 2-February 12. City Hall is located at 5211 Schluter Road (corner of Schluter and Nichols, across the street from the Monona Public Library). Voting hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The last day for any voting activity in City Hall for the Feb. 16 Primary Election is Friday, February 12 at 5:00 p.m. No absentee voting or voter registration can take place on Monday, February 15.
