Teen Volunteers

teenvolunteerslogoWe are looking for Teen Volunteers!
Youth entering grade 6 to grade 12 are invited to apply for a position as a Teen Volunteer for the summer library program.

Volunteer Activities
Teen Volunteers are vital to the success of our summer program. Teen Volunteers help readers sign up for the Summer Reading Program and give out reading prizes. Volunteers also help with activities, performances, story times, craft events, games, contests, decorating, etc. The volunteer program provides opportunities for teens to interact with our patrons, demonstrate skills such as cooperation and responsibility, and develop good work habits. Teen volunteers will be invited to special events, receive prizes, and a letter of reference at the end of the summer.

Beginning May 1st, pick up a Teen Volunteer application at the Monona Public Library or download the application HERE.  The deadline for returning applications is May 31st at closing. Teens who are accepted into the program will be called prior to the first training date.

Training dates are listed on the Teen Volunteer Application.
Attendance at one training is required.
