Mission Statement

The mission of the Monona Senior Center is to provide those fifty and over with educational, social, recreational, health, and fitness programs as well as volunteer opportunities. We strive to enhance the dignity, support the independence and enrich the lives of and advocate for older adults.

Madison/Dane County Public Health (MDCPH) 

Phone number for persons 65+ to sign up for COVID-19 vaccine:

MDCPH has established a phone line for individuals who are unable to electronically sign up for the vaccine online – either because they don’t have internet access or don’t have an email address. 

608-242-6328

    This number will likely be answered by a bilingual English/Spanish staff person.  The following language will be used to explain the use of this phone number:  

 “If you are age 65+, do not have a local health care provider, and don’t have internet access or e-mail, you can call Public Health Madison & Dane County at 608-242-6832 to get on the list to be matched with a vaccinator for the COVID-19 vaccine.  If you are able to sign up online at https://www.publichealthmdc.com/coronavirus/covid-19-vaccine, please use that method.”
