Professor Ronald J. Berger's book, Children, Save Yourselves! One Family's Story of Holocaust Survival, is the compelling and amazing story of two Jewish Brothers, Berger's father and uncle, who survived the Holocaust in Nazi-occupied Poland. One brother endured several concentration camps, including Auschwitz.The other passed as a Catholic and eventually became an officer in the Soviet Army. Learn their story as Berger explores the defining wartime events that marked this time and their lives and how he uncovered his extraordinary family history.
