Fearless Crafters: Etegami, Joy in the Ordinary

Wednesday, February 22, 2017

Artist and creativity coach Theresa Kim presents the “new” traditional artform of hand painted drawings joined with meditative thoughts. Learn about this stress-relieving practice and then try it out! Don't worry about your artistic skills; the first rule of etegami is not only is it alright to be clumsy, it's GOOD to be clumsy! A Japanese style of painting that translates "picture letter," etegami makes you slow down and release expectations. The power of etegami is connecting to stillness, connecting to your inner calm and connecting to others all in one effort. Free & supplies provided, but space for this unique program is very limited. For adults /older teens.
