Monona's spring curbside brush collection will begin in district 1 on April 10; district 2 on April 17; district 3 on April 24; and district 4 on May 1. While crews collect all week, residents should have their brush at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on Monday of their collection week, since crews will not return to a street later in the week once they've collected from it. Monona's yard waste drop-off site is now open at the Public Works Garage on Edna Taylor Parkway (between East Broadway and Femrite Drive). Leaves, grass clippings, and garden waste can be dropped at this site 24 hours/day, 7 days/week. In addition, public works crews have begun spring leaf collection. Residents can rake leaves to the curb throughout the month, and vacuum trucks will circle the city throughout the month of April collecting leaves as they see them.
