Public Safety Committee Seeks New Member

The City of Monona is currently seeking a citizen member to serve on the Public Safety Committee. The Public Safety Committee reviews and recommends to the City Council ordinances affecting public safety.  The Committee also hears appeals pursuant to the City’s Fire Prevention Code and may adopt written notes outlining the procedure for processing such appeals. The committee is comprised of 6 citizen members who are appointed for 3-year terms. Meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall.  If you're interested in participating in your local government by serving on this volunteer committee, please submit your application
