2017 STREET MICRO SURFACING PROGRAM
CITY OF MONONA
City of Monona, Owner, will receive sealed Bids for the following project:
Project Number: MOPW-03-17
Project Name: 2017 Street Micro Surfacing Program – Various Streets
Project Description: The work to be completed in conformance with the Contract Document for the mentioned project includes:
- crack filling all cracks
- spray patching all alligator cracks and pot holed areas
- minor patching repair or asphalt replacement as needed
- application of Micro Surfacing Finish Course on various streets
- pavement marking on various streets
All Bids shall be received at Monona City Hall, 5211 Schluter Road, Monona WI 53716, Wisconsin, until 11:00 a.m., local time on Thursday, March 16, 2017, where Bids will be opened and read aloud. All Bids shall be placed in a properly sealed envelope. The envelope shall have the project name and number as stated above and be directed to Dan Stephany, along with the Bidders name and address clearly labeled on it.
The Bidding Documents can be reviewed and examined at Monona City Hall, 5211 Schluter Road, Monona WI 53716, Wisconsin, during normal business hours.
Copies of the Bidding Documents may only be downloaded from the City of Monona’s website (http://www.monona.wi.us/). No fee is required for obtaining the bidding documents.
No bids will be accepted unless accompanied by a Bid bond or certified check equal to 5% of the Bid made payable to the City of Monona.
A pre-bid conference will not be held.
The City of Monona reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any Bid which it deems advantageous. All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 60 days after the time set for receiving Bids.
Contract award shall be made based on the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder.
