  2. LEGO® Building Special Event for children in 2nd to 5th grades

    March 27, 2017, 2:30 PM - 4:00 PM @ Monona Public Library

    School age children in grades 2 through 5 are invited to dig into our LEGO bricks bins to search for the perfect pieces to build a digging machine or other cool creation. All finished creations will remain at the library on display until the next Construction Zone program. Construction Zone meets the last Monday of the month at 4PM.

    LAST MONDAY OF THE MONTH AT 4PM Free. Drop in. All ages. Put on your hard hats and let’s build with all types of blocks! Imaginative play enhances gross motor skills along with socialization. Bring your construction workers and build away! We provide books to inspire your imagination. Join other LEGO® fans and build your own unique creation! Creations may be displayed in the Children's Room glass display case for a week. Children under age 8 must have an adult helper in the room at all times during the program. The library provides LEGO® bricks, LEGO® DUPLO blocks, good old fashioned wood blocks, and Lincoln Logs.
