    Atoms for Peace and Atoms for War: Unintended Consequences from Eidenhower's Well-Intended Program M. Alario, PhD. is Professor of Sociology and Environmental Studies at UW-W and she will explore the "Atoms for Peace" program and the broader legacy of ongoing technological and environmental risks. She will do this by examining the peaceful uses of this technology and it promises, examining the legacy of the program, which may have been the turning point in the history of nuclear proliferation and exploring the implications of the program with an eye on geo-political events currently unravaling.
