    Join the Monona Police, Fire and Parks and Recreation Departments as we celebrate National Night Out Against Crime! Enjoy dinner from a variety of food carts and games and activities for kids and adults. We'll also have several "special guests" on hand to meet, including our K-9 officer, Miya. Just as importantly, it's a chance to meet members of the Monona Police and Fire Departments.

    Kirsti Pope is back due to your request! In May, she presented a great program titled “10 Ways to Benefit from a Yoga, Mindfulness and Meditation Practice”. Join us for this four-part series, each week building on the previous week to learn more about the benefits of meditation to promote health and well being.   1. National Night Out Sustainability Showcase

    The Monona Sustainability Committee invites you and your family to our community's first "Sustainability Showcase". Tuesday evening, August 13, from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Winnequah Park, Dream Park. This hands-on, family-friendly event, in partnership with the National Night Out and our last Summer Concert at Winnequah Park, focuses on energy conservation with opportunities to learn more about some of the ways we can all do well by doing good. The Monona Sustainability Showcase is sponsored by the Monona Sustainability Committee in coordination with two other family-friendly events; The National Night Out and the Monona Summer Concert Series. Come enjoy all three on the 13th, grab dinner from a variety of food carts, connect with Monona PD and Fire friends, neighbors, and enjoy some music on a great August night.
