One Community, Many Voices

Everyone has a story worth sharing!

The One Community, Many Voices initiative collects your stories and shares them with the entire community! Trained volunteer interviewers will come and interview you with a list of set questions covering your life and your history with the Monona community. These interviews will then be made available on the Monona Library website, and together with the stories of your friends, family, and neighbors, will offer up a description of Monona life for generations to come!

If you are interested in sharing your story or are curious and would like more information, please fill out this form or contact Kate Stalker at kate@mononalibrary.org.

This initiative is a partnership with Monona Community Media, the Historic Blooming Grove Historical Society, and MG21 Charter School. Grant funding has been secured from Dane Arts, Beyond the Page, and Wisconsin Humanities Council. Additional funding provided by the Friends of Monona Library.
