Large trash items - furniture, mattresses, appliances, computers, etc - cannot be collected with the regular trash collection but can be arranged on an individual basis by calling the City's trash/recycling contractor, Waste Management, at 1-888-960-0008 or order a large-item pickup online
. There is a separate charge for collection of these items, and the contractor will bill you directly for this service. Waste Management collects all large items in the City of Monona on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month. Residents should not place large items at the curb more than a few days before they are scheduled to be picked up.
