HOW TO USE BEANSTACK TO WIN AWESOME PRIZES!

By reading or listening to the books and magazines you enjoy, you could be the winner of a fabulous prize! This year, our reading program includes BOTH reading and activities. Here's how you do it:
  • Log each day that you read a book: All you need to do is mark each day in your Beanstack reading log that you spend time reading. You will earn a badges and tickets over a span of 20 days once you hit the milestones of reading 5, 10, 15, and 20 days within that range!
  • Complete Activity Badges! New this year are four activity badges for all ages: Connect, Create, Explore, and Learn. Each badge encourages you to participate in a different type of activity to make the most of your summer learning! See our ideas list for completing each activity badge! Once you complete an activity, hit the check box within each badge to earn a ticket!
You can enter tickets that you earn into prize drawings within Beanstack! If you choose to use a paper reading log, email a photo of your completed reading log to youth@mononalibrary.org or bring it in to the Monona Public Library when we are open to get your random drawing tickets.

Please remember to check expiration dates on gift certificates.

WITH GRATITUDE!

Please use the Beanstack website or app or the paper reading log in a way that best suits the needs of your individual child. Help your child to set a goal of recording time spent reading or listening to books, pages read, or titles of books. If your child is already a motivated reader, you may choose to require additional time, pages or books from what the library requires. Children may choose to count time listening to someone read out loud to them, including listening to books on compact disc. Choose to collect the digital badges and random drawing tickets we offer, or include your own reading incentives, such as a special activity for the whole family or time spent alone with a parent.
