    The Public Works Department is hosting this public information meeting to inform residents on plans to reconstruct the Winnequah Road bridge that crosses the channel to Pirate Island in 2020. The proposed work includes the complete replacement of the bridge and relocation of the water main under the Pirate Island channel. Monona’s consultant, MSA, will present some information about the project, then open the meeting to a question-and-answer session.

    Easiest Way to Garden Ever: Create a Lasagna Garden On Site! Are you ready to convert a part of your lawn to a garden but think it will be too difficult? Lasagna Gardening is the answer! Joe Muellenberg, Horticulture Coordinator at UW Madison Extension, will explain, step by step, how to create a Lasagna Garden. That’s not all, you will have the hands-on experience of assembling a small garden on-site at a Monona residence! More details will be available at a later date.
