This lecture will classify healthcare systems around the world and discuss the major shortcomings of the American healthcare system, including high costs and impaired access to care.
Dr. Alaz Kilicaslan is an assistant professor in the Department of Sociology, Criminology, and Anthropology at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. His main areas of expertise include healthcare systems, healthcare reform and the medical profession. He is originally from Istanbul, Turkey and completed his PhD in Sociology at Boston University.
